Joe Griffard has worked with individuals and families for nearly 25 years helping them to grow and preserve their wealth. A native St. Louisan, Joe earned a dual degree in International Business and Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He subsequently moved to New York, and after a short stint in another industry he joined a Merrill Lynch branch in midtown Manhattan in late 1991, and subsequently worked at two other major investment firms. 2005 was an especially busy year for Joe, as he started his own practice as an independent advisor, and also seized an unexpected opportunity to move his family back to his home town.
Joe fulfilled the requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant in 2007, and dedicates at least 20-30 hours each year to professional development.
Joe and his team actively support numerous charities through their corporate giving program, including the Joshua Chamberlain Society, the Children’s Dyslexia Center, the American Lung Association and Everything Greyt Greyhound Rescue. In his leisure time, Joe enjoys various activities, including long walks with his dogs, golf, and coaching youth soccer.
